2010 Haiti Relief

Mr. Wilson and a student loading donated supply from BSGE Haiti Relief Collection

October 28th, 2010

Dear Mr. Peter Wilson,

On behalf of Haitian Orphans Wish (HOW) organization, I would like to thank you and the student of the Baccalaureate School for Global Education for your generous contribution.

Amid so much despair since the catastrophic earthquake and the new Cholera epidemic in Haiti, your medical supply collections, many cases of water and your large cash contribution is especially important to alleviate the suffering of the orphaned children of Haiti.

We have been supporting the “Soeurs Redemptrices de Nazareth Orphanage” in Kenskoff Haiti for the last five years. This orphanage is headed by Sister Dona Belizaire who counts on our monthly contribution to help feed about 90 to 100 children daily. We are also helping four other orphanages/children charities in Haiti. With the recent tragedies, these orphanages has exceeded their capacity and relies on donations to provide a safe haven for the numerous new orphans.

Your contribution would go toward the following:

-       Expanding the capacity of the orphanage to accommodate additional children

-       Providing them with 3 meals a day

-       Recruiting additional staff to care for them

-       Help build a much needed pantry to store their food supplies from pests and theft

-       Provide water treatment equipment for safe drinking water.

In our search to lessen the suffering in Haiti, we cannot forget that there are now over 360,000 orphans in the Port au Prince area. They depend on organizations like HOW, and supporters like BSGE School that are willing to take a stand and make a difference in their lives.

Your commitment to helping HOW is sincerely appreciated.

Yours truly,

Marcel Toussaint

President
