Observing all that is wrong with the world, can leave you with a feeling of hopelessness.  I was at that point, when a friend told me about H.O.W.  She encouraged me to attend one of their meetings.  I did, and have been an active member since.

This is a great organization, with great people, truly interested in helping all who are orphaned/destitute in Haiti.  It is small enough to have each individual's voice be heard, yet dedicated enough to have accomplished some real, tangible goals.  Such as contributing $17,000 (thus far) to help Sister Dona re-build her school.

Being a member of H.O.W. has finally allowed me to believe that I can help make a difference in helping to alleviate the ills of the world.
