HOW is an organization that has as its core mandate to support other organizations that feed, house and educate the most vulnerable of the Haitian population, the orphaned children of Haiti .  This group of committed volunteers, which started several years ago, continues to grow in providing these services.  The spirit of friendship and goodwill is always evident as we go about the business of fundraising and the allocation of these funds to the disadvantaged.  Unlike other organizations, all money raised goes directly to the children.  Since we are volunteers, I know as a member I am directly impacting the life of a child in a very positive way.  

Although, each and every member of HOW has as busy and hectic a life as any other productive member of society, we find the time to meet each month for this meaningful and fulfilling mission.  Like myself, you may be a member of a church or another worthy organization and believe that you are already doing your part to make this world a better place, but I hope you will find a little more time to be part of an organization where you can experience first-hand the tremendous impact you can have as an individual working with this group.
